Lighthouse Staff

Sr. Chris Edwards, S.F.P.

 President & Director

Sister Christine Edwards a Franciscan Sister of the Poor is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1962 and has been involved in the Charismatic Renewal since 1969. She is Co-Founder and Director of Lighthouse Community and serves as President of Lighthouse Renewal Center.
Better known as Sr. Chris, she also serves as Chairperson of the Regional Service Team for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the Diocese of Covington, KY since 1996. She has also served on the Council of the National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for 9 years.

Fr. Richard Dressman

Chaplan

Is a native of Cincinnati. He has been a member of Lighthouse Community since 1981, serves as a Board Member of Lighthouse Renewal Center and as chaplain of Lighthouse Community.
Father Rick retired as of March 31, 2019. He also serves as liaison for the southern region of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati between Archbishop Schnurr and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Mr. John Kosey

Secretary & Treasurer

A retired Accountant with over 37 years experience in the financial field.  John became a member of the community in 1986, by making the Life in the Spirit Seminar and completing the Come and See Prorgam. John also serves on the Pastoral Team and is a Care and Share Team leader. John has been married to Diane for 53 years and has two children and five grandchildren.
He took over the Treasure/Secretary duties upon the retirement of Jerry Imsicke in 2022.

Mr. Thomas Johansing

Vice President

Tom has been involved with the Lighthouse Renewal Center since 2009. Tom became a member in November of 2011. He is the Director of the Music Ministry and a Member of the Pastoral Team of Lighthouse and is on the Board of Directors.
Tom is a member of St. Ignatius Parish in Monfort Heights. Tom has been married to Janet, who is also a member of Lighthouse, for 35 years and has 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Tom is a real estate agent and has served our community as a Realtor for over 35 years.

Mrs. Barb Saal

Administrative Assistant

Barb has been involved with the Lighthouse Community since 2009 when she attended the Life in the Spirit Seminar. Barb is a member of The Daughters of Joyful Praise Care and Share Team.
She began her assignment of Administrative Assistant to Sr. Christine Edwards in June 2020.
 
Br. Joseph Spehar, S.M.

Our Heavenly Intercessor

Feb. 21, 1927 – Sept 10, 2012
Brother Joe, former President and co-director was a Marianist Brother, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, taught high school in Cleveland, Ohio, Dayton, Ohio, Hollywood, Florida (principal) and Covington, Kentucky. He was co-founder and co-Director of Lighthouse Community and served as President of Lighthouse Renewal Center. Brother Joe was in the Charismatic Renewal since 1969. He served as a member of the first National Advisor Committee.
Bro. Joe served 68 years as a Marianist
